I have used the 2nd half of December to practice the above topics and there was much learning along the way in terms of how I needed to write my content, managing my grammar and making references. I’ve come across the Octalysis Framework since 2018 and have been looking at the world through it’s lenses since.
Ad-Hoc Writing
While I have the above planned write ups, I will also inject other learnings as time permits. i.e, I also learn from Arthur Carmazzi on the Directive Communication Psychology ‘s gamification frameworks and methodologies as well.
Yu Kai’s contents on Octalysis Framework is all over the place from theory to implementation, but Arthur’s is very focused and direct into implementation. I chose to write based on Octalysis Framework, because it provides a more (in my opinion) broader view of the possibilities (due to it’s vague prescriptions).
